  If you had to ride only one type of bike, what would it be: mtb, cyclocross or road? I live in NYC and as you might have found on your trip here, our streets are Horrible; potholes everywhere and always under construction. I'm trying to figure out if a mtb or road bike is something I should buy.

  Potholes wouldn’t really factor in my decision, especially since they can be avoided with a little bit of awareness. They’re inherent in any metropolitan city. Riding style, climate, condition and budget are what I think about when considering a bike purchase.

  I don’t have a limit on the number of bikes I can own, so I don’t think about it.
